Education Program at Bhasanchar
Since 2021 ACLAB has been providing education for the Rohingya Refugee children at Bhasanchar. Currently in 17 classes of 3 schools 1132 students are enrolled and learning covering 6 clusters.
In morning and day shifts 596 numbers of girls and 536 boys are studying Myanmar Curriculum in ECD, KG, G-1, G-2, G-3, G-4 and G-6. Currently, ACLAB is implementing the project “Provision of quality education for Rohingya Refugees living in Bhasanchar” from September 2023 under the GAC pooled fund facilitated by BRAC.
Under the project, the SMC and parents are getting awareness sessions on quality education and others like PSEA, gender, life skills etc. There are girls and boys adolescent clubs of age group 13 to 18 who are receiving different life skill education and vocational training under these initiatives.
