ACLAB initiatives to ensure the food and nutrition to the vulnerable community
The priority sectors of ACLAB are health, nutrition, financial sustainability and economic empowerment, contributing to the health and livelihood of the vulnerable community people.
To ensure their food and nutrition ACLAB is taking initiatives in homestead gardening by providing seeds, fertilizers, and other necessary supports like gardening tools, bamboo for the protection fence etc.
These initiatives are for the Rohingya refugees in Bhasanchar Hatiya Noakhali district and the cyclone MOCHA-affected population of Cox’s Bazar district including Saint Martin Island.
The family members of the beneficiaries, especially children, aged persons, and PWD have nutritious foods and the beneficiaries earn some money by selling the homemade vegetables to their neighbors.
